Experience an unforgettable evening of flamenco and big band jazz as WAYJO’s award-winning Resonance Jazz Orchestra joins internationally acclaimed Dutch composer and saxophonist Bernard van Rossum at The Rechabite. 

Featuring special guests Raquel Avellan (vocals), Ella Sarson (flute), Joshua De Silva (guitar), and Katie Waterhouse (percussion), this exciting collaboration is brought to life through dynamic choreography and performance by Youth Ballet WA. Founded in 2005, Youth Ballet WA is a leading pre-professional dance organisation dedicated to developing the next generation of professional dancers through elite training and performance opportunities.

" Sleeping Beauty performed by Youth Ballet WA was a perfect outing to take my granddaughters to during the April holidays. The beautifully choreographed dance sequences evoked dramatic tension between the theatrical characters of the Wicked Fairy, Princess Aurora, striking Prince, Royal Courtiers and delightful fairies.The condensed storyline (55 minutes) held the attention of my three-year-old and my older granddaughters. They were totally enthralled by the story and exquisite, colourful costumes. This was the first time my son in law had experienced ballet and was full of admiration for the perfect synchronization of movement, rhythm and timing.It was evident that tireless work and energy had been invested in this production by choreographers, teachers, dancers and the costume team to achieve this engaging, vibrant and accessible version of Sleeping Beauty for all ages.A wonderful holiday outing"
