YBWA News

As Youth Ballet WA prepares to celebrate the extraordinary legacy of Miss Terri Charlesworth, we invite our community to read the wonderful feature article by journalist Sarah McNeill in The Post, highlighting Terri’s remarkable contribution to ballet in Perth, Australia, and across the world. Showcase to celebrate Doyen's 90th Birthday - Written by Sarah McNeill As the inspiration behind Youth Ballet WA and our cherished Patron, Miss Terri has dedicated her life to nurturing generations of dancers, sharing her passion, knowledge, and artistry both on and off the stage. Her influence continues to shape the future of dance through the countless students, teachers, and professionals she has inspired. To honour her incredible achievements, YBWA will present Beyond Pointe on Friday 3 July at the iconic His Majesty’s Theatre. This special Gala performance will feature a number of distinguished guest artists joining our students on stage in a celebration of a woman whose impact on the ballet world is truly immeasurable. Tickets are on sale now and we look forward to sharing this unforgettable evening with our YBWA family and the wider dance community. #YouthBalletWA #BeyondPointe #TerriCharlesworth #HisMajestysTheatre #PerthBallet #WAArts #DanceWA #BalletAustralia #CelebratingExcellence #DanceCommunity #YBWA #PerthArts #BalletLegacy #InspiringGenerations
